Born in Zaire, Patrick moved to the Netherlands at the age of 4. He made his professional debut at the age of eighteen for FC Eindhoven, where he remained for four seasons, scoring 20 goals along the way. In 2004, he moved to Fortuna Sittard for two seasons. Patrick left for Romania at the end of his contract and played for two seasons, for Petrolul then Rapid Bucharest. A return to the Netherlands saw him spend a season at MVV Maastricht in 2016-17.

A bizarre twist during the 2017-18 pre-season saw Patrick announced as having signed for Thai club Sukhothai, however days later it emerged that he had signed a one year deal at United following a recommendation from former Terror Freddy van der Hoorn.
