Milestones

United's amazing run of success at Dens Park continued as we chalked up our seventh consecutive win.

However, United had to come from behind to notch our best away victory this season. Maurice Malpas' double handed save earned a booking and a penalty which Iain Ferguson converted. Within a minute Maurice Malpas had atoned with the equaliser. John Reilly put us ahead nine minutes later and Davie Dodds extended that lead two minutes later.

Another penalty from Iain Ferguson reduced the arrears on the stroke of half-time. Eleven minutes after the restart Eamonn Bannon sunk a penalty given for a foul on John Reilly. Just on the whistle substitute Ralph Milne whipped home a fifth from the edge of the box.
