First Team Debuts

Milestones

Last time we met Celtic at Ibrox was in the League Cup final last season. That was a wholly disappointing affair and this latest big match encounter was almost a mirror image. A perky start faded all too quickly and from the moment Blinker drilled home the opener from 18 yards there was only going to be one winner. After having what looked a good goal chalked off, Viduka added a second before being replaced at the interval. An improved second half performance by us curtailed Celtic from scoring again, but we rarely looked like producing the goal needed to spark any hopes of a revival.
