First Team Debuts

Milestones

A dream hat-trick by Billy Dodds registered our first win of the season as Paul Sturrock made a swift return to McDiarmid Park.

Playing purposefully from the very start, The former Dons striker's looping header from the edge of the box defeating Alan Main.

Victory was virtually assured in the 34th minute. McCluskey was sent off for denying Kjell Olofsson a goalscoring opportunity and Billy Dodds rammed home the spot-kick.

His third came when he took a lofted pass from Gary McSwegan to chip over Alan Main before stroking the ball home. Within a minute Roddy Grant took advantage of some slack defensive play to pull one back and the only other disappointment of the afternoon was the dismissal of Kjell Olofsson after he became entangled with George O'Boyle.
