Roger Boli scored his first goal for the Club.

A struggle in the sun as Second Division Stirling made life difficult for us.

We made a bright enough start, taking the lead after Gary McSwegan pounced to bang in the rebound after the keeper had parried a Joe Miller shot. That lead was cancelled out four minutes later when Alex Bone threaded a shot through the United defenders on the line after Sieb Dykstra failed to clear a corner. Roger Boli headed us back in front from another Joe Miller assist before the break, but the visitors fought every inch of the way. And they got their reward thanks to Alex Bone's angular volley.

Extra-time failed to determine a winner, but Roger Boli, Gary McSwegan and Andy McLaren all scored in the penalty shoot-out whereas Bone hit the post and Sieb Dijkstra saved the other two kicks to enable us to edge through.
