First Team Debuts

Milestones

After losing to a last minute goal in the league a month previously you'd have got good odds on the same thing
happening again, but that was exactly the finale to this robust cup-tie - Erik Pedersen, unwittingly putting through his own goal in the dying minutes!

Prior to that it had been an evenly contested clash. Celtic took the lead through Brattbakk who rounded Sieb Dykstra to score after being put clear. But we hit back shortly afterwards when Kjell hooked the ball on to the bar and the ball went in-off Gould. Early in the second half Robbie Winters teed up a chance which Kjell Olofsson clinically finished from the edge of the box, but that lead was quickly squashed by Wieghorst who drove home from the left-hand side of the goal. then came that late drama which cost us a replay.
