First Team Debuts

Milestones

Perhaps not the greatest cup tie Tannadice has ever staged, but this first victory of 1998 was badly needed to boost confidence in the camp. The decisive goal against a strangely lethargic Dons was scored by top scorer Robbie Winters who turned in Magnus Skoldmark's cross at the near post.

Not until the last fifteen minutes was there any prospect of Aberdeen scoring, but it was all too little and far too late to prevent us claiming a merited place in the next round.

None.
