United played good, tidy football in this tough away leg and will feel a little disappointed to be going to Tannadice a goal down.

The fact the goal came when the end of the game was in sight made it tougher to take. The Dutch substitute, Johan Voskamp scored the only goal of the game sixteen minutes from the end, but that didn't do justice to United's tremendous display.

The game was not without its chances for United with Johnny Russell and David Goodwillie passing up great opportunities. And thereafter only that goal spoilt what otherwise was an outstanding performance in containing the Polish League runners-up.
