First Team Debuts

Jim Hamilton played his 50th major competitive game for the Club.

A goal after less than two minutes when
Steven Thompson hooked home his
first of the season from a Jim McIntyre cross set United up, for what in the end, was a comfortable and morale
boosting victory. Goal number two which effectively ended the Sons' challenge emanated from the same source with Craig Easton the man on the end of another McIntyre cross. Six minutes into the second half, Danny Griffin slotted in a freekick from just outside the box and it was game over.
