Hall of Kits - 2014-15 (Away)
August 2nd, 2014 vs. Leeds United (Friendly)
After unveiling the Home kit for the previous seasons Cup Final, the 2014/15 season Away kit was launched during the close season, with new singing Blair Spittal acting as model. For the sixth consecutive season, the kit was manufactured by Nike and supplied and managed by the Just Sport Group
This was United's fourth predominantly black change shirt, and the first away kit to have a polo style collar since the late 1990s, with a white collar with black trim and matching cuffs. As with the previous Nike designed shirts, it incorporated the "Dri-Fit" technology, and also had a holed pattern up each side of the shirt. For the first time since the early 1990s, the club badge was different from that on the Home kit, with a black, white and silver version sewn into the shirt.
When the Home kit was released it was announced that Calor Gas and GA Engineering had both extended their shirt sponsorship agreements for a further two years, with both logos appearing on the Away kit in white.
The black shirt is to be accompanied with white shorts and and black and white hooped socks - a slight nod back to the kits from the early 1950s. The Club also confirmed the signing of a new shorts sponsorship deal with local company JF Kegs, and the socks were sponsored by lorry hire company Norman Jamieson Ltd.
